Mandatory loses to MAD Lions - VRL 2022 Split 2 - Match 14

On 25th May, our Mandatory players lost to MAD Lions. If we were hoping for revenge, unfortunately it was not to be. All our players played extremely well but the Lions were once again stronger. The latter, almost undefeated, will therefore continue to sit at the top of the table.

Summary of the match

If we had to sum up this match in two words, it would be: madness. Mandatory started off on the attack and ran straight into a very strong Doma. Doma made an ace right from the start and the MAD Lions continued their momentum by winning the next two rounds. Our players kept their spirits up and went on to win four sets in a row. The rounds then went by at a breakneck speed with all the players being absolutely monstrous and very very hot. This first phase of the game was not easy, but Mandatory held on. At half time, our opponents were leading 7-5.

Once on the attack, our players won the pistol round brilliantly, and then came back on level terms. But that was without counting on polvi, who completely dominated the two rounds that followed. After that, many rounds were very close and narrowly escaped us. AKUMAAAAA managed several triples, hoppY did some genius moves... Unfortunately it was MAD who finally won 13-11 on a flawless.
