Our Valorant team

Lots of Announcements for Mandatory!

On Wednesday 13 September, ZeratoR made numerous announcements concerning Mandatory ! A change of premises, one departure, two arrivals, new events for fans and a French Cup to prepare for; we tell you all about what's going on at the club.

New premises in Montpellier

Until now, the Mandatory players each played at home and occasionally came to Lyon for bootcamps and our famous HammerTime. But we always wanted to be able to bring the team and staff together in a dedicated location, to optimise synergies between our members, while adding a real human dimension to this adventure. And that's now a reality, as Mandatory now has its own offices in Montpellier!

This proximity will enable players to be in the best possible conditions to train and play. We'll also be able to create much more content with them! It's a little too early to show you all this, but keep an eye on our networks over the next few weeks to find out more.

Mandatory and kAdavra split up

Even as we prepare for the Coupe de France, the Valorant regular season is over, in both VCL and VCT. This means that the mercatos are in full swing and the players are considering their options. In the case of kAdavrahis dream has always been to play in the VCT and another structure offers him trials, but these trials take place both during preparation for the Coupe de France and during the tournament itself. That's why we've released kAdavra from his commitments to Mandatory. We'd like to thank him for all the time he's spent with us this season.

Féfé becomes coach of the Valorant team from Mandatory

Suite from meneghMandatory was looking for a new coach to work with CREA^. The choice of Féfé was the obvious choice! The Montpellier native is well known for his coaching career on Overwatch, but he's a true professional who has also worked in traditional sports. Recognised for his technical and human qualities, it's a real pleasure to be able to welcome him to the team. After spending hundreds of hours studying Valorant, and keen to take his turn in the adventure, he joined Mandatory where he met up with HyP, as well as another old friend...

SoOn joins the Valorant team from Mandatory

In order to play in the French Cup, we needed 5 players! The sudden departure of kAdavra forced us to review our plans and replace him quickly. Mandatory then set its sights on SoOn. As well as being an excellent player, he has a wealth of experience with 10 years in the business and titles won on Shootmania and Overwatch, including some in the company of HyP and Féfé! So recruiting SoOn was a natural and logical choice for Mandatory, and we're proud to have him on board.

Mandatory takes part in the French Cup

Our next big event is the French Cup of Valorant which starts 21 September. We won the title last year. Can we repeat the feat a second year running? We're counting on you to support our players by following the matches on ZeratoR's Twitch channel.

We'll also have more to announce at that time. Stay tuned!

Viewing Party at flunch

Our partner flunch is organising viewings parties for the launch of the Coupe de France! The flunch restaurants in Rennes and Toulouse Labège will be setting up areas to welcome Mandatory fans. ZeratoR won't be on site, but cameras will be set up in these areas and their footage will be broadcast live! If you support Mandatory, come and prove it by making as much noise as you can (with due respect for the neighbours, after all)!

Ticket offices will open 15 September at 8pm. Keep an eye on the Twitter/X of Mandatory and flunch to access it.
