The Valorant Patch Notes 1.12 are available. A very small patch this week, so as not to repeat the mistakes of the previous one. It focuses on the Observer mode.
Key points to remember of Patch 1.12:
The Observer mode continues to expand bit by bit. The goal is to have a truly intuitive and permissive tool for big confrontations.
The cheat option now allows admins to change several in-game variables, such as Agent stats, credits, etc. We imagine that this will allow a game to be restarted where it was, in the event of a bug or a crash.
The Spectator mode interface and controls have also been revised.
Besides some bugfixes, there's nothing more in this patch. If it's so light, it's due to the failure to deploy patch 1.11. It had caused a lot of bugs, which forced Riot Games to revert the patch for a whole week.
These mistakes caused problems for players during the American Valorant First Strike. Riot Games has obviously learned its lesson. There won't be any new patches until the end of First Strike in early December. The next patch will therefore arrive on 8th December.
Patch 1.12 will be deployed overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday. You can view the full patch notes on the official Valorant website.
