Following unsatisfactory results, TSM has announced that ReltuC is now on the bench. The team no longer has a roster of 6 players.
Stephen "reltuC" Cutler is a former player of CS:GO who transitioned to Valorant in April 2020. On Riot's FPS, he was first member of mouseSpaz where he won the Nerd Street Gamers – Open #1 as well as a 3rd place at the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational. His team was then signed by TSM in May 2020. ReltuC is thus the first player from TSM's original roster to be dropped from the team. However, he will continue to stream within the organisation while he explores new options.
This year, TSM is struggling to repeat its performances in 2020. The FaZe Clan Invitational win and the second place at the North American First Strike are far away. In 2021, TSM failed to qualify for either of the two Masters, and didn't even make it to the finals of the first Challengers in Phase 2.
At the end of March, TSM recruited Brax as 6th man to bring a new breath into the team. However, he has only played 4 games since then, during the qualifiers of the first Challengers of Phase 2. The departure of reltuC should give him more playing time in TSM.
As TSM didn't not qualify for the Masters in Reykjavík, they will have time to train and come back stronger before the next Challengers starting this summer.
