Team BDS recruits GatsH as a sixth man

The Team BDS expands its ranks and recruits Guillaume "GatsH" Kalka as the sixth player of the team.

Despite winning the Summer Tournament of the Valorant Open Tour France, Team BDS struggled to win on the Valorant Champions Tour. It qualified automatically for the first Closer Qualifier Challengers oh Phase 3, but lost both of its matches against Guild Esports and Team Liquid. However, this did not lead to any direct player changes. Instead, the organisation signed a sixth player to give the team more flexibility.

This is how Team BDS decided to recruit GatsH. This French player was playing on ROG Esports before they were acquired by Edelweiss Esports. By joining Team BDS, he moves from one Swiss organisation to another and continues his progression.

GatsH will bring something that Team BDS is sorely lacking: a player specialised in Jett. Until now, the role has been filled alternatively by rodeN and TakaS. But the Agent is so essential to the current Valorant meta that it's hard to do without a player completely comfortable with the character.

Team BDS is already qualified for the Closer Qualifier 2, the last one before the EMEA and the last Masters of the year. This is their last chance to reach the World Championship without going through the last chance qualifier.
