This weekend, it's the turn of North American countries to join in the the Ignition Series . T1 x Nerd St Gamers team up to create the biggest American Valorant competition: the Valorant Showdown.
For the occasion, T1 and Nerd Street Gamers have put on a great spread. Two qualifying tournaments, open to all, were held last week to determine the players who would join the teams invited to the final bracket. From 26th to 28th June, the 16 qualified teams will compete for a $50,000 cashprize, the largest one at stake on Valorant in the United States.
It's an opportunity to follow the biggest esports teams on the North American continent. There are regulars from Riot Games like T1, TSM, Cloud9 or 100 Thieves, but also teams from other games like FaZe Clan or Sentinels. Among the guests, there is one that necessarily stands out: Ninja. The famous streamer created his own Valorant team for the occasion.
At the end of the group stages, the two best teams from each group will meet in a double elimination bracket. The Winner Bracket will be played on BO3 while the Loser Bracket will be played on BO1. The finals will oppose the winner of the Winner Bracket to the winner of the Loser Bracket in a BO5.
The tournaments start on Friday 26th June at 11pm (french hour) and will be broadcast on T1 Twitch Channel.
