The organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas was one of the first to announce a complete Valorant team. Unfortunately, as a result of many independent problems, the team eventually split. Yesterday, Ninjas in Pyjamas has announced its new players.
We already knew that the organisation had already hired luckeRRR and rhyme. There were therefore only three players missing to complete the team. Cock-a-doodle-doo, Ninjas in Pyjamas had its heart set on three French players we know well.
We thus find Damien "HyP" Souville, Enzo “Fearoth” Mestari and Charles “CREA” BeauvoisThe three players were part of team HypHypHyp, which split a little less than two weeks ago. At that time, all we knew was that some players had been recruited into an organisation, leaving PetitSkel and LaAw on the sidelines.
According to the official communique of Ninjas in Pyjamas:
Our ambition has and always will be to field a top-tier lineup - our faith in the VALORANT scene and Riot’s plans for it remains strong and we’ll stop at nothing to get to the top spot. It’s become clear that CS:GO experience is a strong predictor of VALORANT performance, and adding the spice of the highest level of Overwatch competition through HyP makes for a really strong foundation. This squad has an extremely high skill ceiling, has already proven itself competitively, and fits very well into our vision for team chemistry and esports performance. I couldn’t be happier.Jonas Gundersen, COO Ninjas in Pyjamas
Remains to be seen how our three French players will deal with their new colleagues on the pro scene. HyP, luckeRRR and rhyme already played together this weekend during the Vitality European Open and get to the final against G2 Esports. Hopefully, with a complete and stable training, the results could be even better.
One thing is sure: the European scene is gradually taking shape, and it's not over.
