Draken leaves Guild Esports

15th June 2021 – 11:14am

With just a few weeks to go before the Phase 3 of the VCT, draken announces his departure from Guild Esports and takes a short break in his career.

William " draken " Sundin is a former CS:GO player who has played on Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas. On Valorant, he played on Prodigy and Inferno, among others, and joined Bonk a few weeks before the team was recruited by Guild Esports.

Draken is a player of of Omen as well as Sova and has contributed greatly to Guild Esports' success in recent months. Indeed, with the Swede at its side, the team finished 3rd/4th in the first Masters and then qualified for the Challengers Finals EMEA after finishing second in Challengers 1 of Phase 2. However, Guild Esports will not be able to secure their ticket to the Masters 2 in Reykjavík.

Alongside the announcement of his departure from Guild Esports, draken says he is taking a break in June/July to recharge his batteries and decide on the next steps in his career. This means that he will not be participating in at least the first stage of the VCT Phase 3, which starts in the next few weeks.
