Ardiis joins G2 Esports Valorant team

6th July 2020 – 1:32pm

The G2 Esports team is soon completed. During the past few weeks, the organisation has been revealing its players bit by bit. The fourth member has been announced this weekend: Ardiis joins G2 Esports Valorant team.

Before standing out on Valorant, Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks was a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player with very decent performances. But it's on Riot's FPS that he was most noticed. Ardiis is a former fish123 player whose talents were appreciated during the MandatoryCup. He won almost all of the tournaments he participated in, including the Twitch Rivals at Valorant launch. This last performance was probably crucial in the choice of G2 Esports, since he was playing in Mixwell's team, current captain of G2 Esports team.

We now know four of the G2 Esports team members: Mixwell, Patitek, pyth and Ardiis. Note that G2 participates in the Vitality European Open with the current team and Davidp as fifth player. His position in the team has not yet been confirmed as the official Twitter account of G2 suggests that this is a temporary solution at this time.

This tournament may be another chance to prove yourself in the eyes of the Spanish team. As Ardiis, Davidp has played and won a major event alongside Mixwell. He was in his team during the G2 Esports Valorant Invitational. It's also possible that G2 already has a fifth player, but isn't ready to reveal them.
