Today, it's been a year since Valorant was officially released on PC! For the occasion, Riot announces a porting of its FPS on mobile! !
The subject has been around for a while, but this time it's official: Riot's FPS, which attracts 14 million unique players every month, will be getting a mobile version. For the moment, no release date is known, nor even on which platform the game will be available. Only the name has been revealed: Valorant Mobile. Players, whether on iOS or Android, will have to wait to find out if they will be able to access the game on their mobile devices.
With this announcement, it's clear that Riot's goal is to open its game to as many people as possible. The choice of the mobile platform is far from surprising when you see the success of games like Call of Duty : Mobile, PUBG Mobile or even Garena Free Fire.
However, it will be interesting to see how the studio will adapt the gameplay of its FPS to a touch screen. Riot already has experience in the field with League of Legends : Wild Rift as well as Teamfight Tactics and should therefore be able to make this porting to mobile without too much difficulty.
All we have to do now is wait for a release date and more information about this mobile porting!
