How to register for the Mandatory Cup?

29th April 2020 – 7:55pm

The Mandatory.GG team is proud to announce its first Valorant tournament: the #MandatoryCup.

The goal of this tournament is to gather the best European teams, streamers and players from the community in one single tournament, with a €10,000 cash prize!

Want to give it a shot? Here is how to proceed.

Pre-registrations will be open from Friday 1st May - 8pm CEST to Sunday 3rd May - 12am CEST.

In order to manage the potentially high number of registrations, participating teams will be randomly selected during the evening of Sunday 3rd May among those who completed the pre-registration process.

The draw will be made live on ZeratoR’s Twitch channel. You will be eligible if your team successfully completed the pre-registration process and fits all the criteria.

Here is a quick guide to make sure you correctly complete your pre-registration for the #MandatoryCup.

STEP 1: Choose a captain and register the team

The team captain will pre-registrate themself first, by going on the dedicated tournament page by clicking on the "Register as captain" button:

They will first have to fullfil their players' information: NAME / SURNAME / NICKNAME / EMAIL / RIOT ID / TWITCH ACCOUNT / TWITTER ACCOUNT

Then, they will have to create the team with a TEAM NAME, a TAG, and a password of their choice. This password will allow their teammates to join the team when they will register as well. Please note the password to not loose it.

When it's finished, they will see a confirmation page, inviting them to contact their teammates, to register on their side. An email will be sent too (he could arrive in max one hour).

STEP 2: Make sure the 4 other players are successfully registered

Once the captain has received his/her confirmation email or was able to check the confirmation page, the team is officially created.

The 4 remaining players can then start their own pre-registration process for the team to successfully enter the random selection.

To that end, every player on the team must:

  • Go on the dedicated tournament page and click on the registration button
  • Select his/her team in the folding menu and enter the team’s password chosen by the captain
  • Fill the required information on the following form and validate

Each player will see a confirmation page, saying the preregistration is okay. An email will be sent too (he could arrive in max one hour).

Be aware though, a team that is still incomplete by Sunday 3rd May - 12am CEST will not be eligible and therefore won’t be included in the random selection process.

STEP 3: The selection process

The selection process of participating teams will be held live in the evening of Sunday 3rd May, on ZeratoR’s Twitch channel.

The selected teams will receive an email with a direct URL to the Discord server that will ensure the competition goes smoothly.

The final contestants will also be announced on official website and Twitter account.

If you wish to livestream the tournament on Twitch and that you didn’t fill out the corresponding information in the subscription form, no worries. You can make a request by email or directly via the Discord server if you are among the selected contestants. That being said, you will have to abide by a few rules:

  • The tournament must be livestreamed exclusively on Twitch
  • Games can be broadcasted up to quarter finals included
  • Mandatory 1min delay on every livestream
  • You will have to use the overlay provided to you by

Any player who does not respect these conditions will disqualify their team.

If you followed this tutorial correctly, you should be ready to take part in our Valorant tournament. Good luck everyone!
