In order to properly celebrate the official release of Valorant, Riot Games and Twitch are hosting a special Twitch Rivals . What’s better for a game that competitive than a big world tournament?
Teams from all over the world will therefore compete for the first titles of Champions of Valorant. These titles will be awarded to the best teams in each region. And if glory and honours aren’t enough, no less than 200.000$ is at stake during the event.

Hostilities will take place during the weekend of 6th and 7th June 2020. Invited players will however not necessarily be professionals, but active members of the community (we mainly think of streamers and youtubers).
The different regions represented are: Europe, North America, Latin America, Brazil, Japan and of course Korea.
The tournament is part of the Summer Game Fest, the event during which the release date was announced last week. It’s not yet clear whether the tournament will be broadcast on the Summer Game Fest’s Channel or on Twitch Rivals’.
