MultiVersus Patch Notes 1.05

This Patch 1.05 brings with it a number of new features. MultiVersus is now home to the shadowy Black Adammaster of lightning and the new arcade mode. In addition to these elements, there are new skins, new versions of maps, but also the Silly Queue, which offers spicy matches. And as usual, the developers are taking advantage of the patch to make a plethora of changes to the characters.


Black Adam joins MultiVersus

Black AdamShazam's former disciple comes to do battle in MultiVersus! This bruiser will call upon the gods and lightning to strike hard and protect himself. A skin that pays homage to his classic comic book look is also available. This one grants more candy during the Halloween event introduced with the 1.04 patch.

The new Alpha arcade mode

Announced several months agoThe Arcade mode is now available in MultiVersus. The current version of the mode will be expanded in the future, as the developers plan to add more features. This mode invites you to play solo or in pairs, variations of the characters in three levels of difficulty Easy, Medium and Difficult.

The Medium and Hard modes feature 3 difficult "Boss" battles, one of which is your Nemesis. You'll need to be aggressive to win the game! If you complete a game, you will receive a star on the character selection screen corresponding to the highest difficulty achieved:

  • Easy: Bronze Star
  • Medium : Silver Star
  • Difficult : Gold star

This is just the beginning for Arcade Mode and we will be adding even more fun and features to Arcade Mode in the near future, and we look forward to your feedback.


More chaos with the Silly Queue!

Enjoying the joys of MultiVersus without the need for competitive games is now possible thanks to the Silly Queue. This offers you the possibility to play 2v2 games even more fun and chaotic with three game modifiers.

Get ready for the fight between giants with the growth spurt ! This modifier means that the size of the fighters will increase considerably as they deal damage. In addition, items, as well as a shrinking explosion box, will appear on the cards during the last point of the game.

Further changes to the Silly Queue will be made in the near future. Stay tuned!


Concerning the MultiVersus cards

  • The House of Scooby-Doo A new version of the house is available. This version does not have a roof. It can be played in the different MultiVersus queues.
  • The Celestial Arena The Celestial Arena has a new music track. It will appear randomly when you play on the map.
  • The Space Jam pitch The map Space Jam field has been playable for some time now, in the Lab and in custom games. The developers are still working on making it as fair as possible before including it in official 2v2 and 1v1 matches. If you have any comments on this map, don't hesitate, they are always open to feedback.

General changes

  • Concerning the weakening of the attack :

Level 1 attack weakening is increased from 60% to 80% stun reduction. Level 2 from 70% to 90%. Level 3 from 80% to 95%. Level 4 from 90% to 97.5%.

As always, the patch changes many characters in MultiVersus. To make it easier to understand the changes, we put a different symbol to symbolize the type of change.

Arya

* Knife bug: Sometimes, when an enemy died with the knife inside them, they would reappear with the knife still stuck in their body. This bug has been fixed.
- Special High Ground/Air :
- Special Ground/Air Side : Hitting an ally or enemy with a dagger now recovers 25 % of cooldown, up from 50 %. The same change has been made when you hit an ally and are equipped with Betrayal. The travel time between the sprint and the dagger strike has been increased from 0.23s to 0.275s. The chain with the dagger throw has been moved back 6 frames.

Bugs Bunny

* Ground Side Attack: Increased the base recoil from 600 to 800, for the first 2 shots. Added recoil scaling from 0 to 0.5 on the first 2 shots.
* Low Air Attack: The angle of the recoil has been changed to be more horizontal.

Reindeer Dog

* Special High Ground : Fixed a bug where the crystal was not visible if it left the arena.
* Special Air/Ground Neutral : Shooting an ally while in the Blastzone no longer causes the ally to ring.
* Special Low Ground/Air : The maximum size of the fireball is now set at 7 times the original size.
* Ground Side Attack: Direction of recoil of the combined attack 1 plus push up.
* Air Side Attack: The recoil angle has been increased to be more horizontal.
- Special Low Air/Ground : Reduced the fireball's lifetime to 0.5s instead of 1s. The fireball no longer creates a wall of fire.
- Special Côté Air : Cancellation of the return to the ground has been postponed by 4 frames. Endlag increased by 4 frames.
+ Special Air Side : Increase in the size of the 50% hitbox.

* Air/Ground Neutral Special Attack: Removal of the errant hitbox on Finn's body.
- Air/Ground Neutral Special Attack: Addition of 4 frames of endlag to the high-five.
- Neutral Air Attack: Addition of 5 frames of whiff.

+ Ground Side Attack : Added early cancellation on hit for side attack to up attack combo. Increased the combo damage from Side to Down attack from 6 to 7. Increased recoil scale from 12 to 15.
+ Neutral Ground/Air Special Attack: The stacking speed of the edge buffs has been reduced from 0.75s to 0.5s. Buff stacking time increased from 3.5 to 5s.

* General : Fixed a bug that prevented equipped stickers from being read.
* Ground Side Attack: Reduction of the strike pause from 0.3 to 0.175s, when the Perk Hammer is equipped.
* Low Air Attack: Recovery increased by 1 frame. The recoil angle has been adjusted to be more horizontal.
+ Ground Side Attack : Adjustments to make the strike combo 2 more likely to be connected.

* General : Fixed a bug where held objects would appear on the wrong hand.
* Special Neutral Floor : Fixed a bug where you could summon meeseeks over and over again.
* Special Air/Ground Side: Fixed the bug where enemies could dodge the portal and not be affected by the stun.

* Special Air/Ground Neutral : Reloading the gun now takes 14s, but all 3 shots will be reloaded. Any shot taken will bring the reload time of the gun back to 14s.
* Forward Air Attack : Hitboxes will no longer hit behind Stripe. Added 5 frames of whiff.
- General : The speed of the jump linked to the Jump asset is reduced from 50% to 35% and its duration is reduced from 3s to 1.5s.

* Special Air Side : Fixed to prevent falling after a successful throw.
+ General : The DMR per mark is reduced by one second, from 6 to 5s.
+ High Air Special : Increase in base recoil on downward throw from 425 to 525.

* General : Fixed the bug where Taz could not eat projectiles after being stunned.
* General : Fixed the bug where the chicken legs appeared in the middle of the arena.
* General : Fixed the bug where Taz could walk with an eaten enemy, if he was hit just as he was eating a fighter.

* Special High Ground/Air : Correction to Jerry's rocket. It now correctly applies the benefits of projectile perks to the first enemy hit.
+ Special High Air/Ground : Increase in cap ammunition from 2 to 3.

* Special Neutral Air : Fixed a bug that when Wonder Woman used her lasso in the air and then landed, the animation would not play.
* Special High Air/Ground : Fixed a bug where floating would not always trigger.
