MultiVersus Patch Notes 1.03

MultiVersus continues to be updated, with a new patch that is a little less hairy than the Patch Notes 1.02but in continuity. He will bring with him Rick Sanchezthe mad scientist from the series Rick and Morty. This is also the first patch to add skins to the game! Let's hope this will become a habit.

Game mechanics

Inifini anti-combo system - In order to prevent infinite combos, either currently or in the future with new updates or new characters, a system has been implemented. From now on, the weakening of attacks is stronger when a character hits an opponent 4 times with the same attack during a single combo.

New type of projectile - Patch 1.02 introduced the notion of medium and heavy projectiles. This patch adds a notion of light projectiles. As a reminder, two projectiles of similar weight cancel each other out, but a projectile of greater weight destroys smaller projectiles in its path. There are two light projectiles at the moment: Rick's unloaded gun and the pies sent by the trophy helper.


New character: Rick Sanchez

Rick joins MultiVersus. It is a Mage for Experts.

+ Jump speed : Gizmo jumps to a speed of 3700 (formerly 3400).
+ Special Neutral Air/Ground : The music notes remain active for 10s (compared to 9).
+ Special Flooring : The car is now a heavy projectile.
+ Special Air Side : Recovery reduced by 5 frames.

- Special Low : On the ground, the house no longer bounces enemies who are also on the ground.
- Attaque Bas Sol : Recovery increased by 4 frames for a failed attack.

* Type : LeBron is no longer categorized as an experimental character.
* Ball : Fixed a bug that caused the ball to disappear when thrown too close to an opponent.
+ Special Neutral Air/Ground : When an ally receives a pass, it emits a small explosion that repels enemies. The blind pass is faster (3200 instead of 3000).
- Special Low Air/Ground : Can no longer block heavy projectiles.
- Neutral Air Attack: No more breaking armour on the first blow.

- Special Côté Air : Recovery increased by 3 frames for a failed attack.
- Neutral Air Attack: No more breaking armour on the first blow.

* Special High Air/Ground : Revised animation to make it easier to miss the opponent.
+ Ground Side Attack : Revamped animation for less opponent misses. The combo comes out faster and goes with the hit opponents.
+ Air Side Attack: Throwing power increased to 14.5 (instead of 13.5).
+ Special Air/Ground Side : Increase in the speed of the projectile.
+ Low Air Attack: Now has 2 more active frames.

Superman

- High Ground Attack: Reduced throw multiplier to x1.5 (from x2.0). Reduced attack cancellation by 4 frames.
- Attack Neutral Ground : Reduction of attack cancellation by 4 frames.
- Special High Air : Recovery increased by 12 frames on a failed attack. Reduced downward throw when throwing the opponent.

- Ground Side Attack: Now has 2 extra active frames. Recovery increased by 4 frames on a failed attack.
+ Air Side Attack: Recovery reduced by 3 frames. on failed attack. Recovery reduced by 7 frames when hitting the ground.
+ Low Air Attack: Recovery reduced by 3 frames. on failed attack. Recovery delayed by 3 frames when hitting the ground. Now throws more horizontally.
+ Special Neutral Air/Ground : Jerry returns to Tom when he is killed while attached to an ally.

* High Ground Attack: Fixed a bug where ice did not apply to enemies.
* Neutral Air/Ground Attack: Fixed a bug where the attack consumed two rounds of ammunition. Bubbles amplified by allies no longer apply vulnerability.
* Low Air Attack: Now projects more horizontally.
- High Air/Ground Attack: Recovery increased by 3 frames.
- Special Air/Ground Neutral : Allied amplified beam no longer applies vulnerability. Beam projection reduced to 1600 (from 1750).
