How to beat the Anjanath

The Anjanath is the definition of a big bully: he prints, he hits very hard and he shouts a lot, but he is not very intelligent. Most of the time, he will just attack straight ahead, whether it's with his teeth, head or flank.

Each of the Anjanath's attacks can take a significant chunk of HP out of you, but they all have almost the same weakness: just stay in the monster's way and it won't be able to hit you. So of course, it's easier to hit its weak points from here, especially if you're dealing with a large specimen, but it's the safest way to defeat it.

When you begin to feel comfortable with his attacks, you may have the nerve to get in front of him, hit his head to hurt him badly, then roll forward into his paws to get back to safety just before he attacks. It may seem counter-intuitive, but never run away from an Anjanath.

When he gets angry, the Anjanath spreads wings and his snout expands. This does not allow him to make new attacks, but keep in mind that he will be faster, stronger and will do longer attack combos until he calms down.

Finally, like most fire monsters, beware of flames crackling from the corners of its jaws, as its fang-based attacks can burn you and it may spit out a few fireballs.

The materials of the Anjanath

By fighting a monster, you can get different items and materials for making armour or weapons which we have listed in the following table. This is how the table works:
