Perhaps you're a long-time League of Legends players and proudly display your nickname " Best Tryndamere Kent ". Trouble is, now you play Valorant, this nickname seems rather unsuitable. Don't panic! Let's see how to change your Riot ID in Valorant.
Your Riot ID includes your nickname on all Riot Games games (Valorant, League of Legends and Legends of Runeterra) and your team tag. If you launch the game for the first time, you will have by default the tag corresponding to your server (#EUW, #NA, etc...).
Note that if you change your Riot ID in Valorant, this change is also taken into account in other Riot games.
To change your Riot ID, nothing could be more simple. Follow these 6 steps:
The site will ask you to confirm your choice by entering a validation code. This code is emailed to the address linked to your Riot Games account.
Be careful, once your ID or Tag is changed,
you can’t change it for 30 days.
Here you are, you can now play with your new name and let everyone know which clan you belong to in game!
For more customisation tools, see the list of banners and the list of titles to unlock.
