ZLAN 2022 : The Games and all the info
The ZLAN is back in 2022! This video game decathlon (but not only) sees 228 players compete in teams over a weekend. Mandatory is media partner of the event and will offer exclusive content, as well as a series of articles dedicated to both competitors and spectators.
Competitors will find on our website a series of guides to get started on most ZLAN 2022 games. Further, more in-depth guides will be added regularly until the event. For the spectators, they will be able to follow articles introducing the different games and the important points to know in order to follow the show and understand what is happening on the screen.

The ZLAN 2022 will take place on the weekend of Friday 8 April to Sunday 10 April 2022. It will host 76 teams of 3 players (228 players in total) who will compete on 11 different events. The competition will start with a pool phase from Friday evening to Saturday. The best teams will then play in a knock-out tree until the end of the event.

For the first time, the ZLAN will be open to the public for the final stages. More information on this subject will be available soon.
Age of Empires 4
Microsoft's prestigious strategy game license is returning to the ZLAN, this time with a brand new episode. Teams will compete in Age of Empires 4 with swords, spears and elephants in both individual and cooperative games.
Apex Legends
It's this year's Battle Royale FPS: Apex Legends will revitalise the usually slow and methodical formula with its supercharged mobility and character skills. Battles will be played on the huge Season 12 map as well as in the Arena mode.
Elden Ring
Just released, already at the ZLAN. From Software's masterpiece will be this year's speedrun event. It's a challenging and demanding action game, but it's packed with customisation options. We can't wait to see how players will adapt their characters to succeed in going as fast as possible.
Fall Guys
It is as if the ZLAN was invented for Fall Guys. After 3 editions, it's finally here. This acidic Battle Royale will subject the competitors to a merciless obstacle course, but in good spirits.
Pro Soccer Online
When esport meets sport. Pro Soccer Online is probably the least known game of this ZLAN 2022 (with geography), but among the most skilled (with conjugation). In this 1st or 3rd person football game, ball control is more complicated than ever.
Rocket League
The pleasures of football combined with the pleasure of beautiful cars... and rockets. Rocket League will test the dexterity and understanding of the teams in frenzied matches.
Riders Republic
Riders Republic will be the thrill game of the ZLAN 2022! Teams will race against each other on land, snow and in the air. Riders Republic requires excellent reflexes, but also an impeccable mastery of the various vehicles required.
Worms W.M.D.
A ZLAN wouldn't be a ZLAN without a good Worms battle. The main event of the tournament will once again pit two teams against each other in a turn-based strategy game where precision and hazards are the key words. Will tens of thousands of euros be spent on a banana once again?
ZUTOM
No school event this year, but participants will still have to rack their brains with ZUTOM. This is a customised version of SUTOM (or Wordle) where the admins can choose a series of words to discover themselves.
The community game
For the first time at the ZLAN, the community will be able to choose one of the games in the competition. A poll is underway so that you can decide between 4 events in :
Hot Wheels UnleashedA set of cars, small in size, but big in speed.ShellShock Livea very flashy and explosive artillery game.
Slapshot: ReboundA game of ice hockey reduced to its simplest form.
SMITEa 3rd person MOBA where the Gods battle it out.

The Mystery Test
We don't know what it is yet, but the mystery event will once again take place in the ZLAN final. What will they find after the Tiercé des canards or the pétanque?
